Arrival at Entebbe airport and met by our tour guide.
Picked up from your accommodation in Kampala and proceed to Northwestern Uganda through the Kibale plains, which have beautiful green scenery,
to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is best known for its mountain gorillas. You will have stop overs at the equator and in Mbarara
town for lunch. Arrive at the park late in the evening.
Wake up early to get ready for Gorilla trekking. You will be provided with lunch boxes and you need to carry all the necessary
gear for trekking which may take between 2 and 5 hours. In the afternoon after trekking, you may relax at the camp and
enjoy the beautiful green scenery of the forest or go for a village walk and visit the local Batwa Community.
After an early morning breakfast set off for Kisoro with packed lunch. You will have a stop at Kanaba Gap to view the Virunga volcanoes. After, continue to Mgahinga National Park.
Wake up early for a second chance to track the Gorillas. You will be provided with lunch boxes. In the afternoon, you can either opt for a guided nature walk in the forest, or butterfly viewing, or bird watching or even decide to climb the volcano. Get back in the evening and relax at the camp.
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara. You will arrive in time for an afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo. You will see Hippos which are very common in the lake and also different bird species like crested crane, shoebill stork, swamp flycatchers and many more. Time permitting; an evening game drive will also be conducive.
After breakfast, drive to Kampala arriving early afternoon and transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight
