Discover Kazinga Channel
Kazinga Channel is one of the Must visit places in Uganda although rarely talked and raved about, it’s a 32 kilometer long channel connecting Lakes George and Edward situated in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This rewards tourists with amazing experiences in nature and wildlife especially animal and bird species.
Lake George is a small lake with an average depth of only 2.4 metes and which is fed by streams from the Rwenzori Mountains. Its outflow is through the Kazinga Channel which drains into Lake Edward, water levels fluctuating are very little. Discover Kazinga Channel channel endowed with a variety of wildlife and bird species both migratory and indigenous birds, also it’s famously known for its high concentration of Hippos and Nile Crocodiles in the world.

Animals at Kazinga channel include; Hippos, antelopes, buffaloes, crocodiles, monitor lizards and numerous bird species all enjoying the environment in and around the channel.
